Robyn Henderson cooks across the East End — Southampton, East Hampton, Bridgehampton, Montauk — and builds the menu around what the farms, boats and producers out there have that week.
Farm-to-table is a phrase worn thin by overuse, but on the South Fork it has a literal meaning that it does not have in most places: the farms are there, the fishermen land at the dock, and the distance between the two ends of the supply chain is a short drive. Her site describes her as a longtime East End resident, which in this particular market is a working credential rather than a biographical detail.
The work runs from family cooking through intimate gatherings to larger events.
